Two shafts – Downcast sunk to 200 yards
Upcast sunk to 195 yards. Production commenced c1857.

Winding
Twin cylinder horizontal winding engine, 28 inches x 60 inches, parallel drum, 16 feet diameter.

Underground Haulage
One engine for underground haulage located at the surface.

Ventilation
Schiele fan 8 feet diameter, fan pulley 4 feet diameter, 180rpm. Belt drive from engine having a 16 feet diameter flywheel.

Purchased by Crompton & Shawcross Ltd, 1904
Temporarily stopped 1914-1920. Later re-opened. Abandoned 1921.
