No.3 Pit, immediately east of L&YR Hindley – Blackrod line and immediately south of bridge carrying Scot Lane Colliery railway over L&YR line.
No.4 Pit (Little Cannel), Approx. 500 yards north-west of Dicconson Lane station on L&YR Hindley – Blackrod line.
Nos. 6 & 7 Pits, immediately west of A6 at Four Gates.
