Also known as Wheal Treen and a former copper Mine which seems to have worked two intersecting lodes in metamorphosed killas country. There are no plans of the workings which are said to go beneath the sea. The only record of output is from 1853 when 25 tons of 12% copper were found.

Some shafts and the ruined engine house can be seen on the cliff below the old Coastguard Station.
