Our members receive a number of benefits including:

• Four newsletters each year (February, May, August & November. (a sample can be found here)
• A free copy of each of our British Mining series of publications, this year we have the already published BM113 – The Chiverton Lead Mines of Cornwall and later in the year BM114 Memoirs
• Access to an extensive library and records.
• Access to our members area which contains back issues of all of our newsletters dating back to 1960. There are also many items waiting to go on our public website
• 25% discount on all Society publications (and also some of our second-hand books)
• Our membership rate is probably the lowest in the country at on £17 for UK memebers (£22 EU & £27 Worldwide) Our rates are low as our Charity is run entirely by unpaid volunteers.

Until the end of August, every new member will receive in addition to the above a free copy of BM90 entitled “50 Years of Mining History“ celebrating our 50th anniversary back in 2010*. There is no need to do anything as both books will be sent out automatically to each new member.
