Bogle Hole Pit Explosion – Glasgow – 1846

BOGLE HOLE PIT. Glasgow, Lanarkshire. 28th September 1846.

The colliery was owned by the Clyde Iron Works and was at Tollcross. The pit exploded killing five men and a boy.
