This was a small level that worked the Mountain seam which it found had a section of; coal 12 inches, dirt 18 inches, coal 7 inches, dirt 2 inches, coal 8 inches, dirt 1 inch, coal 6 inches in this area.

On the 18th December 1900, tenders were put out to drive a ‘deep’ at this mine, the road was to be six feet high and nine feet wide, while a level was also to be driven at six feet high and seven feet wide.

It employed 33 men in 1899, 36 men in 1900, 46 men in 1901, 62 men in 1902, and 14 men in 1907 and was managed in 1908 by D.W. Evans who employed 16 men underground and 3 men on the surface and closed in December of that year.
