This was a small level named after the farm that it worked under. It was owned in 1918 by Stephens and Cousins who formed the Kingcoed Colliery Company of Swansea and employed 25 men underground and 11 men on the surface.

It was owned in 1921 by Bush Collieries Limited and abandoned the Mynyddislwyn Rider seam in that year.  In 1924 it was owned by the Llwyn Glo Colliery Company and is shown in 1938 as being owned by L. Watkins of Blackwood and employing 4 men underground and 1 man on the surface but work had been discontinued.  It worked both the Mynyddislwyn and Big Rider seams for house coal.

It abandoned the Rider seam in 1940.
