During the 1830s Carn Galver was worked on a reasonably extensive scale to a depth of almost 70 fathoms. There were two steam engines.

The mine was reworked from 1851, 250fm had been driven by 1869 with ventilation provided by water pressure and air piping.

The only record of output for Carn Galver is the production of 150 tons of black tin in the years 1860 and 1871-6. The mine later became part of Morvah & Zennor United.
