Clive Francis Best died on July 11th, 1938, at the age of 26.

He was educated at St. Paul’s School, London, and began his career when he entered the employment of the Mysore Gold Mining Co., of South India, in November, 1980, as a mining student.

Mr. Best was elected to Studentship of the Institution in December, 1931.
