Roland Graham died at Perak, Federated Malay States, on July 5th, 1924.

An Australian by birth, he received his technical training in that country and for the first ten years of his professional career was employed in mining and milling operations in New South Wales and Western Australia.

In 1909 he went to the Federated Malay States, where he was continuously employed for the rest of his life, first at the Sultan Idris Mines, Kampar, then as engineer in charge for the ltahman Tin Co., Ltd., of which he was appointed manager in 1915, and as general manager of the Hitam Tin Mine also from 1918.

Mr. Graham was elected an Associate of the Institution in 1912 and was transferred to Membership in 1920.
