William Trevor Jenkins died suddenly at his home on October 15th, 1931, at the age of 27.

He entered the Camborne School of Metalliferous Mining in 1921 and received the diploma in 1924. In that year he secured an appointment as junior mining engineer with the Braden Copper Co., Rancagua, Chile, with whom he remained until early in 1926, when he joined the staff of the Patino Mines & Enterprises Consolidated, Inc., at Oruro, Bolivia. He was in the service of that company, at Oruro and Llallagtia, until he was invalided home just before his death.

Mr. Jenkins was admitted to Studentship of the Institution in 1925.
