Terence Murray died at Chambesi Prospect, Central Africa, on May 8th, 1927, at the age of 29.

His first professional work was in Bolivia in 1920, but in 1922 he came to England to enter the Camborne School of Mines for a short course. In 1924 he was back in South America, first in Guatemala and afterwards in Bolivia. Thence he went to Yugo-Slavia in 1926, and joined the staff of the Selection Trust, Ltd, the same year.

Mr. Murray was admitted to Studentship of the Institution in 1923.
