Thomas Charles Robson died at Takoradi Hospital, Gold Coast, on April 22nd, 1937, at the age of 27.

He entered the Royal School of Mines in 1928, obtaining the Associateship of the Engineering) degree of the University of London. After graduation he went to the Gold Coast to join the staff of South Banket Areas, Ltd., and his exceptional ability and personal qualities were recognized by rapid promotion, so that at the time of his death he was acting manager of the company.

Mr. Robson was elected a Student of the Institution in 1931.
