Nicholas Seccombe died at Camborne on June 2nd, 1927, at the age of 20, as the result of having contracted blackwater fever in Northern Rhodesia.

He entered the Camborne School of Mines in 1923, and on completion of his course was engaged by the Kasempa Concessions, Ltd., Broken Hill, Northern Rhodesia.

Mr. Seccombe was admitted to Studentship of the Institution in 1926.
