Flying Officer David Conway White, Royal Air Force, is reported to have lost his life at the age of 25, having previously been reported missing from air operations.

He was a student at the Royal School of Mines for three years, passing his third-year examinations in 1941, when he joined the Royal Air Force.

He was admitted to Studentship of the Institution in the same year.
